Mga Bilanggong Birhen (1977)

The film tells the story about the lives of the Sagrada family that ran by the matriarch and her son living in the countryside, the place where they both live in peace and witness the unfortunate events occurred. The story of forbidden love and class oppression where women are captives of time and their hearts chained in the country under the colonial power. The film stars Alma Moreno, Armida Siguion-Reyna, Leroy Salvador, Rez Cortez, Mario Montenegro, Trixia Gomez, and Monang Carvajal in the one of the widely recognized film classics of the Second Golden Age of Philippine Cinema.
